Dennis, head of our centrally located New England office and Executive Internet Consultant, formed a small wholesale and retail clothing company in 1980. In order to run his own business he taught himself how to program computers. Later, as director of purchasing, he helped a single store, family owned retailer become the West coast's largest Apple, HP and Compaq dealer while helping to open 6 additional superstores. Other responsibilities had Dennis developing a phone based, catalog driven, direct marketing business and white box computer manufacturer. Moving to a large computer distributor, Dennis directed a program to help small and medium sized computer dealers improve their business through marketing programs, product selection, and business processes. After a short stint at Montgomery Wards as director of marketing, Dennis finally landed in New Hampshire as vice president of marketing for Vision Events, a division of Gartner, the world's largest IT advisory company. It was through these experiences that Dennis came to understand the power of web based business initiatives for both profitability and productivity.
